Crossing the 500 member mark

Happy 500 humble minds!

Hey Reader

WOW! 500 minds, 1 community.

A community is not just a group or a buzzword. Anyone can start a WhatsApp chat or a Facebook page.

But a true community takes trust, curiosity and shared purpose (and a helluva lot of experimentation along the way!)

We kicked off modestly nearly 2 years ago, with a handful of curious minds and me with much shorter hair, as evidenced here:

There's so much to be grateful for, so let me start here: I sincerely appreciate you being part of our journey and everything we've accomplished together.

While size certainly doesn't matter, it's a remarkable milestone and I can't help but be extremely proud.

Thank you and here's to the next exciting chapter in our movement!

It's time become the CEO of your life

What if you approached your life like a startup - testing, learning and growing with every move?

This Wednesday at 4pm CET, the fabulous Katya de Freedericksz will host a Mind Class on how to become the CEO of your own life using startup-inspired principles (fresh after hosting panels at the MWC in Barcelona!)

We'll talk about the value of micro-experiments, idea validation and how to spot opportunities that align with your values and goals.

Make sure you join us for this one!

Learn about why experimentation & curiosity helps us to set better goals

New full session replay

Last week we hosted psychotherapist, author and storytelling superhero Michael Boyle in a deep conversation about the power of mythology in shaping our personal and collective narratives.

Through the lens of the Grail story featuring the legendary figure of Parzival and other ancient wisdom traditions, Michael unpacked how the myths we inherit influence our beliefs, decisions and sense of purpose, often without us realising it.

We also discussed our own internalised stories and how to think about rewriting them to better serve our lives in the present.

Enjoy episode 2 from Rebecca's great series 'Everything You Need to Know About AI Automation' on Time Wisely AI Automation

Packed with short, smart videos exploring what is automation and what AI can do in making everyday tasks easier, I've personally found Rebecca's take super helpful, as it clears away the noisy clutter, cutting straight to the action.

Consider becoming a Sound Mind or Deep Mind to support our community. Get extra 1-1 time with me, access to our inner circle, session replays and way more.

Gather your rosebuds this May Gather ye rose-buds while ye may,Old Time is still a-flying;And this same flower that smiles todayTomorrow will be dying. We often interpret 'seize the day' as a vague encouragement to be bold, to take risks and live fully. But what if it’s more precise than that? What if it's actually a reminder to get on with what you're here to do? To seize the day is a serious invitation (if you want it to be). In a modern world overflowing with busyness, noise and the...

Building communities is a core human technology of the future Did you ever notice that when things get uncertain, human beings instinctively draw closer together? It’s how we've survived every famine, war or any other period of upheaval. The impulse for belonging, connection and mutual aid is baked deep into our biology. Community is not a luxury but rather infrastructure. Now, more than ever, it’s a critical technology we must actively build and protect. Technology, at its simplest, is any...

How tiny experiments make us more playful (and more likely to succeed) Hey Reader It's a pity that we've forgotten how to play. As adults, we’ve been conditioned to equate progress with a certain type of visible, explicit productivity. It's a luxury that can only be tolerated if it guarantees concrete outcomes. If the meter ain't running, it's not creating value. At the same time, more research and behavioural psychology evidence is coming to an opposing conclusion: without play, we stop...
